Jyoti, a Mumbai-based filmmaker and post-graduate from the Film & Television Institute of India, specialized in Film & Video Editing. After assisting directors like Kundan Shah and Abbas-Mustan in mainstream Bollywood films, she ventured into independent work in 1999, creating short films, commercials, and ads, including a series for Neem Foundation with Jaya Bachchan. From 2011 to 2014, Jyoti served as Head of Content Development & Production at Viacom18 Motion Pictures, contributing to path-breaking films like Queen and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
Since 2015, she has overseen the web-series Bose, starring Rajkumar Rao, and directed award-winning short films, Chutney & Plus Minus. Jyoti is passionate about mentoring, conducting workshops at corporates, film schools, and forums to guide the next generation entering the Indian filmmaking industry. Currently, she's finalizing post-production for a musical 'featurette' and preparing for her next feature film while developing original screenplays with a team of writers.
